Clare to Clehane

We set out from Doolin on a rainy day up some steep hills. It was our longest day yet, to Ardfert. I didn't take many photos due to the rain. Clare was pretty different from its northern neighbors, very green.

On the ferry from Killimer to Tarbert, from County Clare to County Kerry.

Tralee town

In Brandon, looking at the Dingle mountains on a cold wet day.

In the Brandon Pub, the first time I saw an actual peat fire. (There's a log on in the photo). The smell of burning peat is really distinctive.

A fellow on the pier in Brandon was catching mackerel.
