We headed to Clifden, on the Connemara Peninsula, an
encountered our first serious rain. After holing up for a bit and then toodling
around, we left Connemara in brilliant sunshine, off to Innis Mór.

This is a bog road, that goes over the peat bogs, used
mostly by sheep and turf-cutters.

We decided to bail on our camping plans, as the weather was
only worsening. We found a place in this nice B&B, which we used to dry our
stuff.

This road is the only way onto the island in the distance,
and it can only be traversed at low tide.
