Dingle Pennsula
On the southern side of the Dingle Peninsula we cycled around Slea Head and camped at the Rainbow Hostel. We then headed to Kilarney, with beautiful scenery and rain showers. The next day we were due in Cork, but it took us 7 hours to go one third of the way, due to a stomach bug that took us both down. We checked into the closest hotel, slept 14 hours straight, and were able to limp the rest of the way in.

We checked out a stone hut built by Christian monks. It was stunning how well the stones had been fit together, even centuries later. |
